About

I am Allan Gregor Bulos, a twenty-something son and brother from Rizal, Philippines, who works as a Section Supervisor somewhere in Makati and loves to eat, to play my guitar, to listen to any kind of music, to sleep, to hear stories about anything, to climb mountains, to run and to continuously challenge myself in anything.

- Fat boy -
Ever since i can remember, I have always been a fat kid.  The bottom line of every fat jokes.  I really didn't care back then.  I was happy with what I was.  That was until July of 2010.  I was diagnosed with Scoliosis, albeit it was minor with an 8° bend.

That got me started thinking, was I really contented with this kind of lifestyle? Was I contented of being fat for the rest of my life? Was I ready to change myself? The questions goes on...

I finally decided to enroll myself at a local fitness gym and even got a personal trainer to motivate myself even more. (with the amount that you will have to pay for a personal trainer, you better be extra motivated :D)

After only 6 months of grueling gym sessions and a "no rice" principle, I managed to lose 90 lbs.

After that 6 months, I needed an exercise that will enable me to eat what the hell I want without gaining extra weight.

And so I started running...

- 42km at 36th Milo Marathon Manila Elims -

I started running last May 2011 in the Goldilocks 45th Anniversary Run.  That was a 5km run.

I started thinking again, up to what distance I can go.  I started running 10km's, 15km's 16km's and 21km's.  Then last March 2012 I was able to run my very first marathon.

Upon finishing my 1st Marathon, I asked myself, can I go further?

The answer I got... YES...

I have now ran two Ultramarathons, a 50k run and a 60k run and now in training for
the second longest street party in the Philippines also known as the BDM 102.

Back then, I was only concerned with improving my best time every time.  I was always concerned with getting a new P.R.

That was until I met a bunch of bubbly, sometimes serious, but always fun people.

This is Team Rock and Road.

This bunch of people taught me a thing or two about mountaineering and other aspects of life.  If you ever see us don't be shy and say hi.  We do not bite :)

So enough of the chit chat, let's go out and be healthy...
